Pickling Line coupled to Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM)
The Pickling Line and Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM) consists of three main sections, namely the Pickling Section to clear the oxide layer off of the Strip surface; the Side Trimmer Section to trim the Strip edges; and the TCM Section for rolling to achieve the target thickness. The continuous pickling line coupled with a multi-stand tandem cold mill provides significant improvements in terms of plant efficiency, productivity, product quality and cost savings.
