Lifting Magnet

A lifting magnet is a type of permanent magnet capable of producing a stronger magnetic field than the normal magnet. This is because they are made of rare-earth metals and alloys such as ferrite. These lifting magnets find applications in various industries to lift metallic items or heavy objects. Electromagnets can be used to separate magnetic materials from the junk. In cranes, electromagnets are used to lift heavy loads. Lifting magnets are commonly used in applications where heavy objects need to be moved regularly, such as loading and unloading materials in warehouses, handling steel plates in fabrication facilities, and lifting machinery components during assembly or maintenance.
