Chemicals

A chemical is any substance that has a defined composition. In other words, a chemical is always made up of the same "stuff." Some chemicals occur in nature, such as water. Industrial chemicals are those with an industrial use - this covers a broad range of chemicals used in inks, plastics, adhesives, paints, glues, solvents, cosmetics, soaps and many other products. We man-made and natural chemicals along with their examples. Natural chemicals include water, lead, mercury, and man-made chemicals include chlorine.
